In December/2006 we renewed our sponsorship with Fernanda Garcia, a Triathlete that participates of national and international competitions in the modalities of Triathlon, Biathlon and Aquathlon besides eventual participations in other running, swimming and bicycling events. |

Educational Themes Books
Distribution
One of the main social responsibility projects of
Stolthaven is the Project of free distribution to
the children in the age group of 7 to 11 years old,
from the public schools located in the perimeter
of our company and also for our employees' children,
of an Book with educational themes such as prevention
against drugs, preservation of the environment and
citizenship habits. This project is a partnership
with the Military Police of the State of São
Paulo and the Brazilian Institute for Research and
Cultural Statistics. |

Employement Of Handicap
People
We also have a partnership with AVAPE - Association
for the Valorization and Promotion of Employees
with Special Needs, creating placements to perform
the monitoring of the cameras in our Internal TV
Circuit, for bearers of special needs. |
Assistance
To The Disfavoured Children
Through the affiliation to AMA - Association of
the Companies of the Industrial and Port District
of Alemoa, SHVNS participated directly on projects
to aid the neighborhood communities of ALEMOA JARDIM
PIRATININGA in Santos, supporting the installation
of the 14th Multi-Use Center for Disfavored Children
in partnership with the ACMD - Community Association
Given Hands, celebrated in 12/08/2005. |

Foster
Homes Aid
We perform donations in cash during the year to
assist the following institutions institutions:
Casa da Vó Benedita (foster home), Casa do
Sol (for the elder citizens) Casa da Esperança
de Santos (for children with special needs). |
Poor
Community Of Descalvado
We perform special donations, around Christmas,
of basic food baskets, clothes, toys, medicines,
personal hygiene materials and etc., with the individual
participation of some employees and Stolthaven itself,
for the community of Descalvado, a very poor village
in the district of Juquiá/SP. |
Winter
Campaign
We also annually perform, as an initiative of our
own employees, a campaign to collect winter clothes,
blankets and no perishable food goods to help with
the Solidarity Social Fund of the City Hall of Santos. |

to the Art & Culture |

Art
Museum
The company joined the Association of Friends of
the Pinacoteca Benedicto Calixto, entity that supports
the Foundation Pinacoteca Benedicto Calixto with
the objective to preserve the art objects that are
exposed in the Pinacoteca (type of Art Museum) and
to increase projects of Art and Culture in our area. |

We count with the participation of Mr. Cláudio
Pereira of Barros, the HR Supervisor, as founder-member
of the ROTARY CLUB SANTOS-NOROESTE, whose main ideology
is to provide a better quality life to the disfavoured
communities of our geographical area, participating
and fomenting social projects as the construction
of the “Vila Gilda's Community Vegetable Garden”,
the “Eat Well with R$1,00” project and
the “Second Time” in partnership with
SESI among others. |
